It all began...with a flea bath and a deep kitten sigh

Jasper was being fostered by a friend of mine when we met. Just under 6 months old, covered in fleas and with an engaging personality. But I had sworn I would be a 'one cat' woman since my Mesa had past away that January. Still I could help my friend out and proceeded to give him a bath to help reduce the fleas. He barely whined, he took it like the tough little street cat he was and as I toweled him off he let out the most heart grabbing sigh and went to sleep in my lap purring.

Yep, I was sunk. He came to live with me 2 days later.

Jasper today

Jasper will be 3 years old this March 23 (the date chosen in honor of my Mother who adored cats) and he is just as engaging as he was at 6 months. He is so Japser! He is so cute! He is so photogenic! I have scads of pictures to prove it! So I will bombard the world with his adorableness, but not blather on about it like now. I hope to post a picture a day, Monday thru Friday. Weekend pictures might appear on Mondays, but no promises.
